The Pentecost is in a way the end of the story of Jesus, and the beginning of the Church, or the New Kingdom brought about by the holy Spirit. Rather like the way this Blog on the story of Jesus, the end of the story is the way that we now have to start, and the other events which are containted in the four sections that I have outlined when I introduced the theme of the Story of Jesus in Asia, will unfold as we go back, till we come to the beginning of the story in the Anunciation and birth of Jesus. But in a way liturgical time is also circular time. In the end is also the beginning.
